Prime Video’s inaugural Obsessed Fest transformed nya Studios in Los Angeles into the ultimate destination for fans of its most popular young adult titles. Throughout the day, attendees experienced exclusive first looks, celebrity appearances, immersive fan activations, live programming, and unforgettable moments designed to celebrate the passionate communities behind Prime Video’s YA slate.
To extend that experience far beyond the venue, Prime Video streamed the entire event live on TikTok from 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM PT, giving fans around the world a front-row seat to every reveal, panel, performance, and surprise.
As Prime Video’s creative and technical production partner, BMG transformed Obsessed Fest from a one-day fan event into a premium social-first entertainment broadcast. By combining creative show direction, distributed REMI production, mobile production, custom engineering, and multi-camera storytelling, BMG architected an end-to-end production ecosystem that not only delivered a polished 7.5-hour livestream but also empowered Prime Video to amplify key moments across social media in real time.
Obsessed Fest wasn’t a traditional stage show. It was a fast-moving, social-first fan experience+ built around celebrity appearances, exclusive content reveals, audience participation, and immersive activations. Every moment had the potential to become the next viral clip, requiring a production strategy that balanced creative storytelling with flawless technical execution.
Producing more than seven continuous hours of live programming required a broadcast model capable of maintaining pacing, energy, and production quality throughout the day. The livestream needed to adapt seamlessly to changing schedules, surprise moments, and evolving audience engagement while delivering a premium viewing experience from start to finish.
The story extended far beyond the main stage. The production needed to immerse remote viewers in the excitement of the event by showcasing fan activations, audience reactions, talent interactions, and the overall atmosphere, making online audiences feel as though they were experiencing Obsessed Fest alongside the fans in attendance.
Throughout the day, the livestream featured appearances from Lana Condor, Kathryn Newton, Gavin Casalegno, and cast members, creators, and authors connected to Prime Video’s young adult franchises.
The event’s defining moment came when Jennifer Lopez made a surprise appearance to introduce the Off Campus panel before performing “Everything’s Fine (PM)” and “On The Floor.” With last-minute notice of the performance and a day-of request to send a separate livestream to her TikTok page, BMG quickly coordinated the added workflow through its cloud-connected Network Operations Center, keeping teams in Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and New York City synchronized while also supporting Prime Video’s real-time social content needs.
BMG transformed Prime Video’s inaugural Obsessed Fest into a multi-platform entertainment experience that reached audiences far beyond the venue.
Supporting more than 1,000 fans on site and 800,000+ concurrent livestream viewers, BMG combined creative direction, distributed REMI production, mobile production, custom engineering, and broadcast operations into a single integrated production ecosystem.
Beyond delivering a premium seven-and-a-half-hour livestream, BMG’s custom engineering workflow empowered Prime Video’s editorial teams to publish compelling social content in real time, extending the reach of celebrity appearances, exclusive reveals, and surprise moments while the event was still unfolding.
The result was more than a successful livestream, it was a scalable production model that demonstrated how live fan experiences can become premium digital entertainment, expanding audience engagement across broadcast, social media, and live event platforms simultaneously.
