The Washington Broadcast Center

At the center of BMG’s infrastructure is the Washington Broadcast Center, a 62,000-square-foot broadcast facility in Washington, DC built for live production, managed services, and centralized media operations.

The facility houses BMG’s production studios, control rooms, channel playout and distribution systems, media asset management workflows, post-production environments, and 24/7 Network Operations Center. It is also home to the BMG Cloud Control Center™, enabling REMI workflows, secure remote access, monitoring, and operational support for clients across the country.

Company Major Milestones

2025

BMG officially opened it’s new 26,000-square-foot, 1080p HDR Network Operations Center in Washington, DC.

The new facility became the central hub for BMG’s managed services, REMI production, transmission, master control, media asset management, and cloud-based playout operations.

BMG also launched cloud-based TV playout services, expanded its Media Asset Management and master control capabilities, and continued supporting major clients across systems integration, managed services, live production, and media operations.

2024

BMG took a major step toward its next phase of growth by building a new Network Operations Center in Washington, DC and preparing to relocate its Cloud Control Center from Las Vegas to the East Coast.

The company continued expanding its managed services business, growing its work across sports, news, entertainment, corporate, and media operations.

BMG also launched new Media Asset Management services, further extending its ability to support clients beyond live production with content management, storage, access, and distribution workflows.

2023

BMG opened a standalone office and warehouse in Washington, DC, expanding its East Coast operations and beginning the process of relocating more production equipment and technical resources closer to the company’s growing DC-based infrastructure.

The year also marked continued development across managed services, live production, systems integration, and media operations.

2022

BMG continued expanding its managed services and technical infrastructure, building new facilities for UBS and opening additional technical facilities in New York City.

The company also built its second REMI mobile unit, expanded its Broadcast Operations Center, and supported high-profile live productions using REMI workflows.

BMG also produced and executed all 10 January 6th hearings leveraging its REMI workflow.

2021

BMG opened its Las Vegas Broadcast Operations Center and built its first REMI mobile unit.

The company also launched its sports division, expanded its remote production capabilities, and continued growing its team to support a larger portfolio of live production and managed services clients.

2020

As the production industry shifted during the COVID-19 pandemic, BMG accelerated its investment in REMI and remote production workflows.

The company converted Schwab Network’s new facility into a REMI-enabled production environment, built its first beta REMI control room in Las Vegas, and produced daily REMI programming for UBS.

By the end of the year, BMG began planning a dedicated Broadcast Operations Center to support the next stage of its remote production and managed services growth.

2019

BMG designed a new broadcast facility for Schwab Network and expanded its systems integration capabilities.

The company also supported consulting work for AccuWeather and built new corporate production facilities for Hilton Worldwide, establishing Hilton as BMG’s second managed services client.

2018

BMG continued to grow its live production, consulting, and managed services work, expanding its operational footprint with a warehouse in Washington, DC and additional production resources to support projects across the country.

2017

BMG began its relationship with Schwab Network(Formerly TD Ameritrade), marking a major step in the company’s growth and the start of its managed services offering.

That same year, BMG expanded its live production capabilities, began investing in its own production equipment, built its first flight pack, and supported live events, including productions at SXSW.

2014-2016

BMG expanded its work across news, entertainment, government, and digital media, supporting clients and projects including PBS, Amazon, IMDb, the U.S. State Department, New York Fashion Week, BET, and live entertainment productions.

2007-2008

BMG supported election-related coverage during a major national political cycle, building early experience in news, live event production, and complex broadcast operations.

2006

BMG expanded its technical consulting work, supporting the DC Office of Cable with the conversion of its facility to a digital broadcast environment.

2005

BMG was founded and began working with ESPN, its first client, providing consulting and live production support for projects in New York and Los Angeles.
